Athletics and Recreation
At UBC Vancouver, the Thunderbirds represent UBC’s varsity and sport club teams. With 26 varsity teams across 15 sport disciplines, there are often games on Friday evenings and weekends that are free for students to attend. The Vancouver campus is also home to a variety of sport facilities (ice rinks, tennis centre, aquatic centre, fitness centres, gymnasiums, and track) offering recreation and physical activity programs.
