The UBC Learning Exchange connects people from UBC and Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside to learn from each other in new ways. Located in the Downtown Eastside, it is a unique shared space for exploring ideas and opportunities, a learning hub where members of the community and the university exchange experience and expertise. Activities happen year-round, including:

Community: Community learning programs

UBC Students: Real-life learning opportunities for UBC students

UBC Faculty: Support for faculty to extend and enrich coursework

Researchers: Community-based research collaborations and results-sharing

Community Organizations: Partnerships with local organizations to address critical issues
